The cottage is set in the fishing town of Brixham where boats bob in the harbour and restaurants and cafes serve up fresh seafood and local delights. The English Riviera offers plenty of beaches with sheltered bays, coves, and rock pools, including the town’s main Breakwater Beach (1 mile), the peaceful St Mary’s Bay (1 mile), and Shoalstone Beach (1 mile) with its tidal pool. Wander the South West Coast Path to Berry Head Nature Reserve and spend time seal spotting from the jutting headland. Further afield, the towns of Torquay (9 miles) and Paignton (5.5 miles) are popular destinations with visitors which can be reached by foot ferry. Other family attractions include Kents Cavern (10 miles), Paignton Zoo (5.5 miles), and Woodlands Adventure Park (9.5 miles). The front of the property is accessed via a single flight of steps from the road.
Step inside and you will be greeted by a bright and attractive open-plan lounge/diner with views over the town. Heading up the steep cottage-style stairs to the first floor you will find two bedrooms; the first bedroom is a double room with a Smart TV and sea and harbour views. The second bedroom is a twin room. Completing the first floor is a bathroom which has a shower over the bath and WC. The master bedroom can be found on the second floor which is accessed via steep cottage-style stairs. It is a light and airy king-size room with apex ceilings, a Smart TV, and stunning views towards the harbour and sea.
There is an enclosed decked terrace with outside seating, which is accessed via a flight of steps, here you can sit outside with your morning coffee before setting off for the day ahead. Although there is no parking directly outside the property, parking can be found on the street in nearby residential areas or at public car parks where charges apply.
