With panoramic views over the English Riviera town of Brixham and out to sea, this terraced cottage enjoys a central location within easy reach of the harbour, cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops.

The cottage is set in the fishing town of Brixham where boats bob in the harbour and restaurants and cafes serve up fresh seafood and local delights. The English Riviera offers plenty of beaches with sheltered bays, coves, and rock pools, including the town’s main Breakwater Beach (1 mile), the peaceful St Mary’s Bay (1 mile), and Shoalstone Beach (1 mile) with its tidal pool. Wander the South West Coast Path to Berry Head Nature Reserve and spend time seal spotting from the jutting headland. Further afield, the towns of Torquay (9 miles) and Paignton (5.5 miles) are popular destinations with visitors which can be reached by foot ferry. Other family attractions include Kents Cavern (10 miles), Paignton Zoo (5.5 miles), and Woodlands Adventure Park (9.5 miles). The front of the property is accessed via a single flight of steps from the road.

Step inside and you will be greeted by a bright and attractive open-plan lounge/diner with views over the town. The lounge area is a wonderfully relaxing space with comfortable sofas and a Smart TV and DVD player. The dining area is fantastic for enjoying mealtimes together around the dining table. The kitchen is well-equipped and offers an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and a door opening into the little courtyard. Heading up the steep cottage-style stairs to the first floor you will find two bedrooms; the first bedroom is a double room with a Smart TV and sea and harbour views. The second bedroom is a twin room. Completing the first floor is a bathroom which has a shower over the bath and WC. The master bedroom can be found on the second floor which is accessed via steep cottage-style stairs. It is a light and airy king-size room with apex ceilings, a Smart TV, and stunning views towards the harbour and sea.

There is an enclosed decked terrace with outside seating, which is accessed via a flight of steps, here you can sit outside with your morning coffee before setting off for the day ahead. Although there is no parking directly outside the property, parking can be found on the street in nearby residential areas or at public car parks where charges apply.

Great cottage. Had everything that we needed. Stairs up to main bedroom were steep but manageable. Although there is no parking we always managed to find somewhere close. Close to town centre and harbour.

Accommodation is close to town centre and harbour area which was great. We didn't anticipate the amount of steps needed to get to and from the Accommodation from the town or harbour which is on us, we should of done more research. Would recommend staying here if you have no breathing or walking difficulties and would stay here again. The views fromRead more this Accommodation are beautiful. Hide

The cottage is ok. The garden in need of attention and the amenities sparse. Brixham itself somewhat faded.

It was a very last-minute getaway - booked early afternoon and arrived later the same day. The owners/agents turned things around quickly and helped sort out a small glitch with the key upon arrival. Warm, comfortable, easy access to the town centre, stunning views, and everything we needed for coastal walking. Although parking right near the propeRead morerty can be limited, there is plenty of free on-street parking within 2-minute walk up the road - easy and no hassle at all. Hide

Very comfortable house and in a great location for exploring all the joys Brixham has to offer. The views of the harbour and bay from two of the bedrooms is amazing. The stairs are fairly steep, but not a problem for us - we have stayed in cottages with much more awkward staircases. The climb from the town/harbour via the slope or steps kept us allRead more very fit. Overall we enjoyed our whole stay - the accommodation was cosy, warm and a great place to return too after being out and about. Hide

Second time staying here. Good location but difficult to get to the property with a pushchair & wheelchair. Stairs inside are narrow but this is typical in this type of property. Could definitely do with a 'spruce up' inside.

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage for folk who enjoy walking to lots of lovely places. Location is ideal for those who can manage hills, short walk to harbour and local shops, longer pleasant walk to Breakwater Bay and sea water pool. Highly recommended walking to Berry Head nature reserve, we had a magical time there. GardRead moreen disappointing but other than that we had a fabulous time and would visit again. Lovely property with a great view. Steep stairs. Took the dog a while to adjust to the stairs inside and out to the decking. Very clean and tidy. And a great location if you can handle a few hill walks!
