Set in the heart of the South Hams, this idyllic converted barn, once used for milking and stables, is located in a lovely, quiet spot. It's set within the gardens of the owners’ holding whose 10 acres of grassland provide the perfect base to explore the South Devon countryside and coast. There are beautiful walks directly from the property, but for those more serious ramblers, Dartmoor is just 7 miles away. The nearby town of Kingsbridge (7 miles), located on an attractive estuary, is just a short drive away with much to offer, including a selection of cafes, pubs, and shops. Totnes (10 miles) has a castle and an abundance of independent shopping, a local market, and stunning countryside. Further afield, visit Salcombe and Dartmouth (both 13 miles), where you can sample the freshly caught seafood and the sailing facilities available. As guests approach this beautifully converted studio barn, they will be immediately struck by the tranquil countryside location.

Stepping into the property will bring you to the welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom area. A king-size bed welcomes guests to rest tired limbs after a full day’s worth of exploring. The underfloor heating means even on the cold evenings the barn remains cosy. A round table and chairs provide the perfect place to enjoy a morning breakfast or evening meal and welcome the outside in with the opening double doors to the courtyard. With a comfortable sofa, enjoy relaxing whilst watching TV. Raised on a mezzanine flooring, the kitchenette is equipped with a small countertop electric oven, halogen hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, and washing machine. Completing the property is the king-size bed and a lovely fully tiled bathroom, with a walk-in shower, bath with shower attachment, and WC.

Outside, the property benefits from its own gravelled BBQ area and at a short distance, a private garden. Bathe in the sun's rays using the seating area or enjoy some al fresco dining on the patio table and chairs. Access to the owners’ surrounding fields offers peaceful walks from your doorstep, however, dogs must be kept on a lead.

A very attractive getaway in one of the Devon's best locations. This conversion is very comfortable and covers all needs for a couple seeking a quiet downtime. Wifi works well so you can also stay in touch with family and friends too.
