The fishing villages of Appledore (15 miles) and Clovelly (14.5 miles) are both worth a visit, and home to such attractions as The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks. Water sports enthusiasts will love the North Devon Wake Park (12.5 miles) where you can experience paddle boarding, wakeboarding or the Aqua Park that hosts inflatable slides, climbing frames and obstacles. Nearby there is traffic-free walking route, the Tarka Trail, which is also a great choice for cyclists and dog walkers.
