This is a modern and cosy cottage with beautiful furnishings, set on the tranquil outskirts of Appledore. Steeped in maritime history, this popular fishing village offers visitors a holiday to remember. There are many independent shops, pubs, restaurants and art galleries to explore or you can relax on the quay with a bag of fish and chips or try your hand at crabbing. You can also enjoy a trip on the foot ferry across the River Torridge to the beautiful dog-friendly sandy beach of Instow. Beach lovers will also love a day out at Westward Ho! (3 miles) known for its long expanse of golden sands which is perfect for sunbathers, swimmers and surfers. Travel 11 miles to visit RHS Rosemoor with its 100 acres of stunning gardens, or Dartington Crystal, which is the only remaining glass-making factory in the UK. Cyclists will love the Tarka Trail, accessible at Bideford and Instow, which has 18 miles of safe off-road cycling.

 On arriving at the cottage, you enter the hallway with coat and boot storage. To the rear, you will find the lounge with stylish comfortable sofas to relax on after a day of adventure, so cosy up and watch a favourite movie on the Smart TV. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up some lovely meals for your family and friends. There is also a downstairs WC. Take the stairs to the bedrooms: a double and a twin room. Completing this floor is the family bathroom.

Patio doors lead from the lounge out to the enclosed garden which has elegant patio furniture so you can dine alfresco after firing up the charcoal BBQ.

Private driveway parking for three cars is located directly next to the cottage.

Had a really lovely stay at this cottage in Appledore. A little walk out of the centre but only 10/15 minutes. Really clean and comfortable house. Thank you

A truly modern, cosy and well located property. Plenty of walks and beaches nearby, with a quaint little town which offers a good choice of pubs and eateries

Really well equipped and comfortable, Sunny View provided a great base for exploring North Devon. Lots of thoughtful touches from the owners including a bottle of wine waiting for us, and very helpful instructions to find the house. Fantastic house! Everything you need, super clean and comfy, horses across the road my daughter loved to watch, beach very close and its a very nice beach lots around to do. Perfect stay!

You will want for nothing. Lovely week in this clean, cozy and comfortable house. Tastefully decorated and superbly equipped including all staples (bread, milk, tea. coffee , cereals, eggs, marmalade etc.). Very convenient for dog walking (easy walk to Westward Ho! beach) and cycling (Tarka trail). Parking a bonus with garage for secure storage of Read morecycles etc.).
