It’s located near the small village of North Molton (2 miles) which is well known for its attractive old buildings and scenic countryside and has a pub. Explore Exmoor National Park with its woodland walks and stunning moorlands where Exmoor ponies and red deer roam freely. The beautiful Lynton and Lynmouth (19 miles) offer a plethora of shops, pubs, tea rooms and the famous funicular railway which connects the two places together. Take a walk along the impressive Valley of Rocks with spectacular views across the Bristol Channel or a woodland walk along Watersmeet. Visit the superb beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde (22 miles) which are known for being a mecca for surfers and other water sports lovers.
As you approach this lovely, converted barn, you will appreciate the stunning grounds surrounding it. Step through into the large hallway where you can kick off those muddy boots and relax in the delightful lounge where there is a Smart TV to watch a family movie together and a wood burner to snuggle in front of. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to whip up a hearty breakfast to start the day and the large dining room is a real sociable place to enjoy family meals together. A lovely snug/games room is on the ground floor where children can enjoy watching their own movies on the Smart TV or enjoy playing on the football table and air hockey table. On the half landing of the second staircase, there is a walk-in shower and a WC. Take the stairs again to the five bedrooms where there is a bedroom with a king-size bed, one single room, a family room with a king-size bed and a bunk bed, and two other bedrooms with a super-king-size zip-and-link bed in each, one with an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. To complete this floor is a family bathroom with a bath, a walk-in shower and a WC.
Outside, there is an enclosed and dog proof patio area at the back of the property that offers breathtaking countryside views – it’s the perfect place to dine alfresco on those lovely warmer evenings.
The property is set within 3 acres of shared grounds with a wildlife pond and a stream running through, which guests are welcome to explore with the dogs (on lead.)
