This delightful seaside retreat nestles in a convenient spot, ideal for spending days on the beach at Westward Ho!. Sleeping four guests, this is a great bolthole for couples or small families who love the long stretch of golden sand which is renowned for its surfing, as well as its swimming. Walk or drive through the sand dunes of Northam Burrows Country Park to reach the beach from this property, which has an upside-down design to maximise its views out across the countryside and towards the coast. The fishing village of Appledore is 2 miles away, where you can potter in shops and galleries, and in the high season catch the ferry over to Instow, where there is another, smaller, estuary beach and sand dunes.

Let yourselves into the property at the ground-floor level; here you will find a king-size with an en-suite shower room and WC and a twin room. Both bedrooms have TVs and there is also a family bathroom downstairs. Make your way upstairs to the first floor to emerge into the spacious, airy lounge/kitchen/diner, with glass doors opening on to a balcony, which looks out towards the sea. Sit outside on warm evenings or inside when it is cooler, perhaps in front of the Smart TV. The modern kitchen area in this space is well equipped with everything you require to help you prepare tasty meals.

Sit outside in the rear enclosed patio area and maybe fire up the gas BBQ, if you feel like cooking out in the fresh air. Or while away a few hours in your very own hot tub. You could also head out onto the first-floor balcony with a cuppa or your favourite tipple and enjoy the commanding views.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my daughter and partner. Sarah has thought of everything in terms of the little (and big!) touches. Extremely clean, beautifully presented home. Sarah was approachable and happy to help. The property is located a 10 mins walk from the beach and has shops nearby. Also loved that it was a very warm place at this time of Read moreyear - we werent so lucky with the weather however was lovely to come back and get cosy. It would not be fair to say its a home from home, because its so much nicer than that! We slept extremely well, the showers are spectacular and the views too. The hot tub is a great way to end the day and the whole house gives you the space to spread out and enjoy rainy days in, just as well as sunny days on the beach nearby. Lovely home from home. Sarah has thought of everything. So comfortable and welcoming. The hot tub was very welcome after a long walk. Proper gin glasses is a bonus! I'm sure we will be back.

Wow - this property is just beautiful. The owner has literally thought of everything and equipped it very well. Its extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean as well as being in a lovely area close to shops and some very lovely walks and pubs. We had a fabulous stay and would 100% recommend.

excellent property owners have thought of your ever need spotless accommodation excellent parking for two car's only a short walk into westward ho and thirty minutes walk to Appledore dogs welcome at all local pubs and restaurants so perfect I would highly recommend and can't wait to stay again

Everything you could hope for, for a relaxing holiday. Were a family of four plus two dogs, and Seagrass was perfect for us. Walks on the beach (check tide times as it goes from 1/2 mile deep to non-existent) and the burrows, followed by soaking in the hot tub and sleeping deeply in the very comfortable beds. Were planning to book again. The super-Read moreclean house has everything we needed for our holiday, and a good coffee machine is a real bonus. Its also beautifully decorated. Hide

Ideal location with perfect access to the Burrows and all that entails. Easy to use as a base to visit many places of interest nearby. Felt safe secure and was spotlessly clean with every homely facility you might wish for.
