Situated in a quiet residential area and within 0.5 miles of the village of Northam, this property is a great base from which to explore North Devon. Close to a superb sandy beach and with easy access to the South West Coast Path, guests can enjoy exhilarating walks or try their hand at surfing. Walk or cycle along the Tarka Trail or take the public footpath along the riverbank into the ‘little white town’ of Bideford to the south, or the pretty fishing village of Appledore to the north. Also, within 1 mile of the property is the seaside village of Westward Ho!. With its 2-mile stretch of sand and typical seaside amenities, this is the perfect destination for families and surfers. Behind the beach sits Northam Burrows Country Park which is also home to the oldest golf club in England, Royal North Devon Golf Club. The village of Instow (3.8 miles) is worth visiting with its yacht club, sand dunes and fabulous delicatessen. In the summer, catch the passenger ferry across from Appledore to Instow; alternatively, the regular bus service connects Northam to Bideford, Appledore, Instow and beyond.
Access to this pretty barn is via external stone steps with a sturdy handrail. Entering through the front door brings you in at first-floor level and into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner.
