If you're looking for a peaceful and picturesque getaway, then High Bickington is an ideal destination. Nestled in the heart of the beautiful North Devon countryside, this charming village offers stunning views and a relaxed atmosphere that is sure to help you unwind and recharge. There are plenty of opportunities to explore the great outdoors, with miles of footpaths and cycle routes to discover with your four pawed friends, as well as fishing and boating on nearby rivers and lakes. Exploring slightly further afield, it won’t be long before you find an array of beautiful coastal hotspots, including the golden sands at Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands or Woolacombe, all within 20 miles of the cottage itself. Other attractions nearby include RHS Rosemoor Gardens and Dartington Crystal, as well as the fishing villages of Appledore and Clovelly, all within 27 miles.

Stepping into the cottage you will soon feel at home with the array of original and contemporary features, as well as creature comforts. Into the well-appointed kitchen/diner, which has all the appliances needed for a stress-free stay, and seating for all guests on the dining table, where you can look forward to enjoying meals together. Heading on through to the lounge you will find plenty of comfortable seating for all guests to sit back and relax in front of the Smart TV, whilst indulging in the crackle and pop coming from the warming wood burner on those chillier evenings. Heading upstairs is where you will find the two bedrooms and bathroom. The master bedroom has a double bed with ample clothing storage and a dresser, whilst the second bedroom handily offers something different with twin single beds, ideal for a family escape. Completing this wonderful interior is the family bathroom.

Heading outside and through the gates into your own enclosed garden is where you will find a beautifully spacious lawn area, along with a patio space with a mixture of comfortable outdoor seating. Allowing you to wine, dine and share all the best moments of the holiday beside the roaring fire pit.

A stunning cottage in an idyllic Devon village. Beautifully designed and presented. Great parking. The garden was marvellous with so much space for the dog. There were so beautiful walks on the doorstep that took you to huge fields that were mostly enclosed. Wonderful to let your dog run. A small community shop with larger supermarket approx 15 minRead mores driver. Lots of costal places to visit so a great base to explore. The cottage is in a very tranquil area and we could not recommend highly enough. Hide
