Situated in the middle of Torbay, on the English Riviera, Paignton is the perfect all year-round retreat. It’s just a short, 0.6-mile walk from Hollicombe beach, 0.8 miles from Preston Sands or 1 mile from Paignton Beach where the beach and pier with its amusements provide hours of family fun. At the southern end of the town is the 18th-century Paignton Harbour, offering day trips along the rugged Devon coastline, as well as wildlife and fishing; or alternatively take a trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway which runs from Paignton Train Station (2 miles).

Enter the bungalow and kick off your shoes in the porch space. Down the hall and to your right is the master bedroom with a zip-and-link super-king-size bed, boasting sea views. The lounge/dining area offers a Smart TV, sea views and comfortable sofas; it’s the perfect place to unwind. Enjoy your mealtimes in the dining space, with a large bay window showcasing the elevated view. Further down the hall is the stylish kitchen, fully equipped for your stay with a breakfast bar area and ample worktop space. The family bathroom has a central position for easy access and has a large shower cubicle and WC. Completing the bungalow is a twin room with plenty of storage space.

Outside, there are two separate dining areas, to the front is a bench with a grass area surrounding, and to the rear is a paved dining area with table and chairs. The garden is fully enclosed, and parking is situated within the gates, offering easy access to the bungalow.

Lovely view from window. Bungalow comfy, once we worked out the heating. A little far from the beach for another time.
