Nearby, the bustling town of Kingsbridge (5.5 miles) is home to an array of independent boutiques, galleries, cafes and restaurants – a lovely spot to while away a day. Beautiful Salcombe with its pristine beaches, water sports and tempting shops and cafes makes for another lovely trip. From here, you can take an estuary cruise to appreciate the views from the water. Discover the quirky delights of Totnes (13.5 miles) – a historic town with its own unique charm. Walkers will love the breathtaking scenery on the South West Coast Path, which passes by stunning beaches including Ayrmer Cove (6 miles), Bantham Beach (6 miles) and Thurlestone Sands (7 miles), all with golden sands and great for kayaking or paddle boarding. This unique cabin sits peacefully at the top of the owners’ agricultural field, where complete privacy is assured.

Step inside and find a beautifully curated space, with eco pieces by local artisans, carefully selected pieces of furniture, and impeccable design choices everywhere, from the soft furnishings to the tactile crockery. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its soothing colour scheme and blend of comfort and style is a lovely space to cosy up in front of the gas fire, while gazing out at the beautiful view across the valley. A Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker let you pick your own entertainment, and the compact kitchen has everything you need to rustle up tasty meals to eat at the dining table. When it’s time to retire for the night, the king-size bedroom, separated from the living space by a linen curtain, promises a restful night’s sleep amongst sumptuous French linen. An en-suite shower room with WC completes the accommodation.

Outside, the living space continues, offering a relaxing haven where you can spark up the fire pit, throw a blanket around you and watch as the stars come out. This is a wonderful place to enjoy dining al fresco, with the view, sounds of nature and each other’s company promising a memorable stay.
