Hobie cottage is just perfect. The location is stunning, the cottage is big and airy and dogs are welcome. 3 bedrooms, the master in the attic has an ensuite and views over the sea to the front and the nature reserve to the rear. The double on the first floor has beautiful sea views and the third bedroom has bunk beds. Dogs were easily kept on the Read moreground floor with the stair gate provided. We enjoyed watching the sea from the front garden. Book it, you won't regret it. Hide

We had a lovely week at Hobie cottage, even the weather was very kind to us. The cottage was clean, comfortable and warm, for us and our 2 dogs. The views from the cottage are incredible and waking up to the sound of the waves was magical, we even saw 2 seals from the window. We highly recommend staying here, and shall certainly return.

The cottage is lovely and in a wonderful location and well equipped. We made full use of the wood burning stove, especially during the storm. The appearance of the seals was bonus to our swimmers!

This is a cracking cottage in a brilliant location. The pub and cafes in Torcross were very good but not cheap. The beach (only metres away) is clean and tidy. The walks along Slapton Ley and the coastal path are excellent. Dartmouth is the closest town and is delightful. However, dont trust SatNavs. The main roads are narrow in places and SatNav cRead morean take you down lanes where both wing mirrors touch the hedges. Use a proper road map. Dog friendly but with restrictions. Check before you book. Hide
