Situated in the rolling Devon countryside, overlooking a peaceful lake, this high quality wooden lodge offers a beautiful bolthole from which to explore. Set in tranquil and private grounds of 23 acres, this lovely accommodation provides a spacious, light filled holiday home in which to unwind. Settled in the village of Kentisbeare, you’ll find a pub and a fully stocked village shop within 0.5 miles or venture slightly further afield to Broadhembury, voted the prettiest village in Devon, with its C16th pub, local tea room and wonderful walks for your four legged friend.  A 15-mile drive to Exeter opens up opportunities to visit the breath taking cathedral or indulge in the diverse array of shops, restaurants, and amenities. For outdoor enthusiasts the location offers a myriad of attractions, with both Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks nearby. Cyclists can enjoy Haldon Forest and all it's levels of off road trails. Beach enthusiasts can explore the renowned Jurassic coastline, including charming destinations like Lyme Regis famed for it's picture postcard harbour and bespoke eateries and Dinosuarland and children can hunt for fossils on Charmouth beach. The Victorian town of Sidmouth is a lovely day out with it's rolling hills and crab sandwiches and the famed Donkey Sanctuary. Branscombe to Beer provides a wonderful coastal walk and Exmouth beach is a year round dog friendly beach, all within 25 miles. Award winning family attractions include Wildwood Escot, Crealy and Pecorama for fun filled days out.

Step inside the lodge from the sheltered deck and you’re welcomed into the open plan lounge/dining and kitchen area. To your right you can unwind on the cosy sofa adjacent to the warming wood burner and smart TV. The kitchen offers a great space to cook up some local produce and comes fully equipped with everything you’ll need for your stay. A large dining space completes the living area and provides a great spot to enjoy mealtimes with glimpses of the lake in the background through the French doors. You’ll find two of the bedrooms to the left, a king-size bedroom with French doors out to the outer deck and a twin room (which can be made into a super-king) with plenty of space. Completing the bedrooms you’ll find a third room at the opposite end of the lodge, with a king-size bed and en-suite. Completing the inside of the lodge is a contemporary styled family bathroom.

Outside you’ll find a sheltered decked area with a bubbling hot tub, beautiful views of the lake and countryside. You can enjoy all 23 acres of private grounds around your lodge. Nature abounds with wildlife here and you'll see birds, hear owls, perhaps see an otter, spot the fish in the lakes and the flora in the hedgerows is ever changing within the seasons.
Designated jetty areas are situated opposite the lodge for an afternoon of fishing. Fish stocks have been supplied by Priory Fishery. Willow is 2 acres and has been stocked with 110 Carp that average 25lbs, with at least 25 different 30lbers, while James pool is 0.25 acres and offers Specimen Coarse Fishing with Bream over 4lbs, Crucians to 2.5lbs, 1lb Golden Rudd and Tench over 7lbs.
