This stunning lodge-style house offers breathtaking panoramic cliff-top views and is just a short stroll from Lynton village. With a wine cellar and pizza oven it’s a perfect destination for a relaxing holiday.

Studded on the cliff-tops within Exmoor National Park, every corner of this charming triple-level house is the definition of ‘a room with a view’. On its doorstep, you’ll find picturesque countryside, beaches, fishing villages, and moors - everything you could hope for in a Devon escape. With two super king-size en-suite bedrooms, it’s perfect for two couples to share, or for a romantic trip just for the two of you.

Tastefully designed throughout, this house is elegant and spacious, with thoughtful finishing touches that will help enhance your stay. Enjoy your morning coffee in bed and drink in those sea views, or relax on one of the two balconies as the sun rises. On the lower ground floor, the kitchen/diner boasts bi-fold glass doors that let the outside in, giving a light and airy aesthetic. With indoor and outdoor dining areas, every meal comes served with sights over the Atlantic Coast. Adjoining this you’ll find a useful wine cellar, while outside in the sloping split-level garden you’ll find steps leading up to the pizza oven (available on request).

The heart of Lynton village and its twin village of Lynmouth are both less than 1 mile away. The duo is dubbed ‘the walking capital of Exmoor’, so pack your hiking boots and get exploring. Here you’ll also find the famous cliff railway: the world’s steepest water-powered railway. From the property, you can head to Valley of the Rocks (1.5 miles) and Watersmeet Gorge (2.5 miles), or take a trip to Croyde beach (24 miles) and embrace your inner surfer. In Croyde, you’ll also find a selection of delightful independent shops, pubs and restaurants.

This was a beautiful property with everything meeting (and exceeding) our expectations. The cottage was done up to a very high standard, with incredible attention to detail. We were very comfortable for our stay and would love to come again. The property organiser was also extremely helpful in answering any questions over the phone, and even arrangRead moreed to mail back a forgotten item to us. Overall a 5 star experience all round. We very much enjoyed our stay at Hoe Cottage. It's spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. The location is spectacular and sitting out on the decking next to the kitchen, enjoying the view, was a pleasure we could never get tired of. When we stayed in, having smart TV and WiFi was great. The location is great, walking distance to Lynton and Read moreactually on the coastal path - perfect. And although North Walk is narrow, it's quiet, and driving to and from the cottage was never an issue. Hide

3-storey semi-detached cottage with hunting lodge stylings. Roll-top bath with great view in en-suite. Comfy beds. Cooking appliances are seasonal - induction hob for Summer, Aga for Autumn/Winter. Close proximity to town centre, but on the coastal path.

We had a most enjoyable week with the bonus of beautiful weather. A very comfortable cottage which has been beautifully decorated in a perfect location very quiet, close to walks and Lynton town centre. Lovely views over the Bristol Channel, and if your lucky you might see Wales! I think the drive might be challenging in really wet weather.
