We all know that plastic in our seas is becoming a big issue. Not only does it pollute the ocean and impact the health and wellbeing of those living on land too, but it can cause huge damage to marine life living in it – from the tiniest micro-organisms such as plankton to the largest sea creatures like sharks and whales.
To raise awareness of the need to reduce plastic pollution in our seas, we have created a fun brainteaser with a thoughtful message.
Can you find the fish in the plastic shark?
This brainteaser is in support of the Marine Conservation Society’s Great British Beach Clean which runs from the 18th to 25th September. The aim of the Great British Beach Clean is twofold: it aims to help remove and audit the amount of plastic on our beaches, and in our towns and cities it will raise awareness about how plastic waste enters our waterways in the first place.
You can join in whether you live by the coast or in the middle of the country. So, if this brainteaser has inspired you to help the Marine Conservation Society to tackle plastic waste on our beaches, find out more about the Great British Beach Clean here.
