This is the best house my sister and I have ever stayed. We have been holidaying together for 10 years now. This house is actually dog friendly, not like others that just allow your dog there. The owners left dog towels, poo bags and snacks. The garden is the safest I have ever seen as is the dog field on the property. The kitchen has everything yoRead moreu could think of, and the milk in the fridge on arrival and lovely biscuits and cakes, and tea and coffee makes all the difference. Peaceful and a gem Hide

Clean, comfortable and quiet location. Perfect for our dogs (2 labradors) who loved the garden and the huge dog field was the best place for a run and play. Well equipped and owners were friendly and around if needed but not intrusive.

Very rural setting. Great for dogs as they can exercise in the secure garden and also a huge exercise field close by. Property had everything we needed. The only thing I'd say is it's a good 15 minute drive to any shops and the roads up to the property are bumpy rural lanes. But the location is lovely with Bude being just 25 minutes away.

We have just returned from this lovely retreat. It was one of the most relaxing holidays we have had. Lovely quiet location, perfect and secure for dogs. The owner has ducks, and our dogs were absolutely fascinated by them. A large secure exercise paddock was on site for both dogs and owners to run free. Extremely quiet at night - wonderful. The coRead morettage itself was warm, lashings of hot water and everything supplied that you need. A super welcome pack was left for both us and dogs on arrival. Hide

The welcome pack was very thoughtful and a pleasant addition. The private garden was nice to sit in and relax. I was there when the temperatures were at 27 degrees, the cottage was cool and could have shade in the garden and read. The owners were about if needed but I had no need to call them.

We were very happy with the cottage, found the dog-exercise field invaluable and really appreciated the hosts' welcome package of food, drink and dog treats. We would normally choose somewhere nearer the coast but the weather was so awful this Christmas (clearly, not the hosts' fault) that we only ventured to the beach once during the week.
