A superb holiday location in rural North Devon, set in acres of unspoilt countryside, which hosts an abundance of wildlife such as badgers, foxes, rabbits and many types of birds. The five lakes lying within forty acres are stocked with carp, roach, rudd, tench, bream and perch, offering a fine sport for the angler. There is a wide choice of beaches nearby, including Bude, Westward Ho! and the sandy dunes of Instow. Just down the road is the unique fishing village of Clovelly, with its steep cobbled streets and quaint harbour. More local attractions are available such as The Milky Way Adventure Park, The Big Sheep, and Dartington Crystal.
There are three steps and the ramp accessing the gated veranda to this single storey water’s edge lodge. Inside you will find an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner boasting a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. The lounge has comfortable corner seating to relax and unwind after a hard day’s fishing. Leading from the lounge area are the two bedrooms: one double and a bunk room with a small double bottom bunk and a single top bunk. Completing the accommodation is a shower room with a luxury jet-spray shower and WC.
After a busy day, head out through the double doors onto the balcony and enjoy the views over the lake. Being so close to the water’s edge makes this lodge a true fisherman’s heaven.
