A superb holiday location in rural North Devon, set in acres of unspoilt countryside, which hosts an abundance of wildlife such as badgers, foxes, rabbits and many types of birds. The five lakes lying within forty acres are stocked with carp, roach, rudd, tench, bream and perch, offering a fine sport for the angler. There is a wide choice of beaches nearby, including Bude, Westward Ho! and the sandy dunes of Instow. Just down the road is the unique fishing village of Clovelly, with its steep cobbled streets and quaint harbour. More local attractions are available such as The Milky Way Adventure Park, The Big Sheep, and Dartington Crystal.
Head up three steps or via the ramp onto the gated veranda of this single storey lakeside lodge and through the front door into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine. The breakfast bar provides an informal dining area next to the comfortable lounge where you can relax with a good book in front of the TV. Located off the lounge are the two bedrooms: two double rooms. Completing the offering is a shower room with jet-spray shower and WC.
After a busy day, head out via the double doors onto the balcony and enjoy the views over the lake. Close proximity to the water’s edge makes this lodge a real fisherman’s heaven.
