Enveloped in the rolling hills and the vast green fields of South Devon, lies the small parish of South Huish. Inside the property, enjoy family meals in the garden room surrounded by natural light. The farmhouse kitchen, fitted with a range cooker, has all the necessary facilities to satisfy your style of cooking. Perfect for chillier days, stay warm and toasty in the lounge by using the wood burner; then unwind on one of the plush sofas and catch up on your favourite programmes using the SkyTV. Upstairs you will find a bathroom and an attractively decorated master bedroom, twin bedroom and bunk bedroom with cosy window seats to enjoy the countryside views. Step outside to discover the sizable garden and patio area, where you can enjoy picnic-style meals or a BBQ whilst the kids explore the natural wildlife wonders. There is ample parking available.

This rural hamlet is in an ideal location for easy access to many attractions. Only 1 mile away, Thurlestone Sands is perfect for sunbathing and soaking up picturesque views. Keep your eyes peeled for some rare birds from the nearby nature reserve. Visit the waterfront town of Salcombe to find small gift shops, restaurants and pubs. Overbecks Museum and Garden, 4.5 miles away, provides the opportunity to explore an old collector’s house and gardens, making for an interesting and varied day out with the kids.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Lovely location and cottage. Owner on hand to help but not intrusive . Local beaches and areas stunning and accessible by foot and car. Would recommend joining the national trust for free parking in many areas.

The cottage was very comfortable and well placed for Salcombe and beaches in the area.The kitchen was fitted out well and we had a wonderful time there.

The cottage is spacious and well decorated with good quality furniture and accessories. The lanes around the cottage are single track, including the one to the beach. Traffic travels fast and in our opinion not suitable to walk to the beach. Use the lane to Malborough to get to the A road is a better route. Lovely peaceful stay and very restful. LoRead morevely beaches just over a mile away. Hope Cove, Kingsbridge and Totnes all worth a visit. Dartmouth a little farther. Hide
