Ideally located close to some of North Devon’s finest beaches, Saunton and Croyde are popular with surfers and bathers alike. The regional towns of Barnstaple and South Molton are nearby with popular pannier markets. Walkers and cyclists can enjoy the Tarka Trail and walk through the surrounding landscape, stunning in any season. A short car journey to the village of High Bickington where the local pub nestles, and all are welcome, you will also find the community shop here which sells a range of produce. Other attractions include RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Dartington Crystal, Lets Go Super Bowl, Quince Honey Farm and The Milky Way Adventure Park.

As you enter this stylish and contemporary barn conversion the entrance hallway is the perfect place to wipe your paws and leave your walking boots behind you. Following on through the property you enter the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. In the lounge relax on the large comfy sofas, relax in front of the wood burner and watch a film on the TV/DVD with Amazon Firestick. If you decide to stay in and cook, there is a well-equipped kitchen area with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and Nespresso coffee machine and you don't even need to do the dishes as there is a dishwasher to do the work for you. After a long day head upstairs to rest your head. Here you will find three bedrooms and the bathroom. Bedroom one and two are spacious doubles and bedroom three is of a good size and offers twin beds. On this floor you will also find a shower room with WC.

Heading outside, you will find the enclosed garden area that offers seating and a BBQ area. This area is perfect for meeting new people or just relaxing with the family on those beautiful sunny afternoons. Next door is the enclosed dog run, the perfect space for your four-legged friend to enjoy their holiday. Once the sun has gone down you can indulge with a dip in the hot tub, situated in the garden area. This property offers two off-road parking spaces.

We had the most fantastic long weekend, the cottage was perfect for what we wanted. Considering it is so dog friendly this did not stop the cottage from being clean and fresh really lovely. Providing sofa covers in case the dogs got onto the sofa were such a good idea (we usually take our own) The towels were soooo fluffy, great shower, lovely beddRead moreing, and well provisioned kitchen. We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Dartmoor cottage. Hosts very helpful and responsive. Cottage very well equipped and cosy throughout our stay. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub with its fantastic views. What an incredible cottage and location. Mike and Sally were amazing. The hot tub was simply perfect as was the log burner, both of which got lots of use. This is the perfect property come summer or winter and the dog paddock was a great addition as it allowed the dogs to get lots of exercise during our stay. We booked this to see in the New Year wRead moreith friends and it proved to be a fantastic choice for us and to make some more amazing memorises, filled with laughter with great friends. Thank you! Stayed for 5 nights over the school half term and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great location with excellent views over the surrounding countryside and close to nearby towns, beaches & pubs. The cottage was lovely and cosy and we enjoyed using the log burner in the evening. The kids loved the hot tub and our dogs made good use of the paddock to stretch tRead moreheir legs. Fabulous location , and hot tub with wonderful views.Beautiful cottage ,so full of character, very comfortable beds , near lovely places we visited and great pub food locally. The cottage was full of everything you needed , on our stormy day we made full advantage of being couch potatoes for the day enjoying Netflix etc , on the great TV and lots oRead moref choices of apps on the TV . A lovely cottage, great hosts and perfect location. We had a fabulous mini break, exploring some of the fabulous beaches north Devon has to offer. We look forward to seeing you again soon. The dog Paddock is a bonus, Hugo loved it.

Beautiful, well equipped cottage in a lovely location. Close to everything but in a lovely, quiet area. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly! Hot tub was a real treat, especially as we were lucky with the weather!

We have just had a lovely stay at Dartmoor Cottage. Situated on a hill top so the views are stunning. The property is clean and cosy and we felt so comfortable there. The property owners are really nice and accommodating. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed and the Nespresso machine was a great addition. Just returned from a week at Dartmoor cottage.Location is around 25 mins drive from nearest beaches but area cottage is in is beautifully quiet! Garden area is not directly of door of the house, but gated drive is secure as you walk across, so still safe for the dog. Hottub garden is lovely, but dogs not allowed to stay in there, which makes it sliRead moreghtly awkward if you just want to sit outside. Dog paddock was great. The cottage is lovely and well situated to explore Devon. We had a great stay and really enjoyed the hot tub and amazing view. There are a couple of things that are useful to know. We couldnt get a warm shower in the evening. We were a family of 5, most of us adults. There is a boost button that provides warm water but it only worked for us in the Read moremorning. Lovely stay at the cottage. The surroundings are beautiful and we loved the garden areas. It was a great location to get to all of the areas of Devon we wanted to visit. Everything you need for a comfortable stay, a downstairs toilet would have been handy!

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was extremely clean and very comfortable, had all we needed and more. The cream tea was a nice treat - thank you and the recommendations for food in the folder was useful. We had 2 great meals out. Having the hot tub and the views was a real treat we all really enjoyed it. The cottage was situated in a very quiet area ,perfect for a relaxing break made more special by having a Hot Tub The accommodation was very clean and warm with hard wood flooring and tiles throughout the ground floor.
