This stylish and contemporary home sits in an accessible location within the small village of Horns Cross, close to the North Devon and North Cornish coast. Set in acres of grounds the house offers spacious accommodation and a great place for friends and family gatherings. There are miles of lovely country walks directly from the property, allowing guests to really make the most of the peace and tranquillity that is offered here. There is plenty to see and do within a short drive of the property, including the attractive harbour town of Bideford, with its collection of independent shops, the two-mile wide beach at Westward Ho!, and The Big Sheep family adventure park.

Stepping into the property from the rear decked balcony you enter into a useful utility area where you can leave your shoes after a day’s exploring before heading on in for an evening of relaxing in style. The impressive open-plan lounge is stylishly furnished with TV and red accents throughout, the floor to ceiling sliding doors allow for natural light to flood into this contemporary space, making it a great place to relax after a long day. There is a large dining table making eating together easy with seating for everyone. There are two kitchen areas, which ensures you can cook everything from a three course meal to a light lunchtime snack, well-equipped with an electric Rayburn, oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, and there is also a wine fridge. Also on the ground floor is a wonderful little snug room with a woodburner and TV, perfect for the children to retreat and watch their favourite movie on the TV or play with the selection of games. Heading up the feature staircase to the first floor, you will find the four bedrooms. The master bedroom, features an unusual but luxurious screened double walk in shower, two washbasins and two WC’s, the bedroom is spacious and has sliding doors with a Juliet balcony to allow the outside in.  The high level large windows have been recently changed to filtered glass and there are curtains instead of the photographed blinds.  There is a further king-size bedroom with TV, a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom. Completing the accommodation is the stylish bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Heading outside you will find the decked balcony, where you can enjoy the evening sun and enjoy a spot of al fresco dining whilst the children play in the large lawn area with an unfenced pond. There is off-road parking for three cars.

Lovely cottage, perfect for dogs, nice pub very close, with good costal walks nearby, great shopping center within a few minutes drive on the outskirts of Bideford

Lovely house and setting. Plenty of room for a family and good sized bedrooms. Huge secure garden perfect for dogs - very tranquil and lovely to sit out and bbq. Fully equipped and presented well.

A nice spacious property that has a big garden. Decent location with the pub across the road which is nice and the food was good. Overall a decent place to explore this part of Devon but a bit tired and in need of a refresh in a few areas.

We loved it. Very relaxing holiday with plenty of space and great facilities. Found property and people so helpful. The hoops inn is great people so friendly. Beaches and small villages and towns all easy to get to. Great time thank you again.

Lovely property, would book again. Spacious, secure garden perfect for our 3 dogs. Lovely open plan features which meant there was plenty of space for 7 of us. Fully equipped and good central location for for access to towns. Views across the garden are stunning.

The house is very spacious and modern. We stayed with our young children and the garden was like a secret garden, my son loved it. It was well kept and we loved exploring the wild grass for bugs and insects. Lots to see! The house was plenty big enough to stay together or get lost in your own little space. We have just had a great week. Yes, the property is on the main A39 but we had no trouble pulling into or out of the drive and we werent disturbed at night by traffic. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need - huge fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine etc. For us the standout feature was the rear garden, accessedRead more from patio doors which open out on to a deck and huge field. Had a wonderful family holiday. The house was great!!! Modern, light and really comfortable with beautiful views of the hills at the back. It was on a busy road but you dont notice apart from when leaving the house. We were a party of 6 adults, 1 toddler and 3 dogs and there was plenty of space for us to all sit together or have our own space. The Read moregarden was huge. Couldnt believe it was all for our use. The dogs loved it!!! Would definitely recommend to others Hide
