It doesn’t get much closer to nature than this! Welcome to an idyllic retreat for two at this beautifully situated lodge in the middle of Devon. From the pretty entrance to the open-plan living space with bi-folding doors that bring the outdoors in, you’ll feel very much at one with the spectacular surrounding countryside. The cabin was absolutely beautiful & well equiped, & made it feel like home from home. It was spotless/comfy/very relaxing with absolutely stunning views. Richard (Host) was so lovely & was on the ball if any issues arose. The vouchers left in place of welcome pack(Due to covid19) to spend in the village store were very useful. The cabin is very well-equipped and had everything we needed. The orchard is lovely and I even spotted a nightingale in the hedgerow. Richard was very friendly and recommended some useful locations for day trips. The gift voucher for the local village shop was very welcome but make sure you get there early in your stay as you might need to order inRead more what you want. Watch out for the narrow lanes - the road through the village to Morchard Road is the easiest. Hide

Spotlessly clean log cabin and brilliant location for touring all over Devon. Good quality fixtures and fittings made our stay every comfortable indeed. The deck area was a little sun trap away from the wind so able to sit outside in t-shirts even on a breezy day. Unless you have an up-to-date SatNav I would suggest following a map for the 'B' roadRead mores as SN keeps you on the country lanes which is lovely until you meet something coming the opposite way or you're in a hurry:) Hide
