We had a lovely stay at Venn Farm. Very child and dog friendly. A rainy stay but the play barn meant our toddler was well entertained. When the rain cleared and the rainbows set in we enjoyed the outdoor play area and all the farm animals. W really enjoyed our stay at buzzard cottage, the location is very rural and the nearest pub is about 2 miles away and is excellent. The hosts Zoe and Steve were attentive and professional. The little gifts were much appreciated. The chickens seemed to make Archie our dog nervous, but he was on his best behaviour. The Alpacas were friendly and my wRead moreife wanted to bring one home. Cosy, clean cottage on a small holding. Delightful free roaming chickens and a pair of alpacas. Owners very friendly and helpful. Lots of useful tourist information. What a lovely place and wonderful, friendly owners! The cottage was pristine and comfortable, bright and airy and had everything necessary for my stay (a week). Peace and quiet on the farm in the countryside but near enough to a village which has all the amenities (supermarket, shops etc). I highly recommend staying here.
