Upstairs, the king-size bedroom, complete with an en-suite with a rainforest shower, enjoys a four-poster bed, dressed in luxurious linens. Magnificent original beams sweep across the ceiling above you, reminding you of the delightful rural setting. Once the day is done, light the BBQ and dine alfresco in the private courtyard.

With 8 acres of peaceful grounds to roam, including a small lake, you won’t even need to leave the grounds to seek adventure. A beautiful 3 miles towards the coast you’ll come to the cliff-side village of Clovelly; with its fishermen's cottages, pubs, shops, restaurants and pretty harbour, it’s well worth a visit during your stay. Head a little further and you’ll come to Hartland; here you’ll find a fantastic selection of craft and pottery shops, cafes, restaurants and some of the most spectacular coastal views in the county.

Absolutely wonderful, beautiful cottage, well thought out and had everything we needed. Immaculately clean and great location, we would definitely stay again. The Wren cottage we stayed in for the weekend was beautiful. Looked exactly like the pictures and was very clean. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We were surrounded by beautiful countryside, not much around but the exact get away we needed tagged onto a wedding.

A great place to spend a week, with easy access to Clovelly and coastal walks. The barn conversion was ideal for the two of us. Very clean, modern, and warm. With allocated car parking to the side. We had a lovely few days at the Wren, Welcomed on arrival and to our delight found it to be tastefully decorated,comfortable and very clean, small touches like the fresh eggs left for our breakfast and biscuits for our tea were most appreciated, the bed was very comfortable and the big shower a delight. Stayed 5 nights in The Wren. Everything was spotlessly clean and well equipped for what we needed. Although in a rural location you could be on a main road within minutes to explore Devon and Cornwall. Anna the owner was lovely and friendly and made us feel very welcome, and would definitely return if we were to head down south again.

The cottage was the perfect retreat for a week away from it all. We had amazing weather. It was a perfect cottage in a lovely quiet location but not far from the main roads to go out and about for the day and quite a few nice pubs within 10 mins drive. I think the nicest little thing was that the owner kindly on arrival had a pint of milk and some of her hens eggs for us to consume which was very generous.
